PAYMENT POLICY

U.S. Domestic Shipments

We accept many forms of payment including Visa / MasterCard / American Express / Discover Card / Money Orders / Cashiers Checks.

International Shipments ( Including Canada )

Shipping quotes for international orders are available upon request at thesciencefair@bellsouth.net

ORDER PACKAGING

We pack and ship all the products very carefully, and are delivered to the carrier in good condition. If the shipment is received damaged please email to us within 3 days from the date of receipt of the products.

If you do receive the shipment in damaged condition, please follow the below steps:

  1. Keep the original packing in which it came in, including the packing material and outer shipping box for inspection.
  2. Email us at 'thesciencefair@bellsouth.net' immediately giving us your full name, address, phone number, email address, time to call, products purchased and what was the damage to the shipment. All the shipments are sent insured for value.
  3. We will call UPS or the carrier and arrange for inspection.
  4. We will inform you the result and report of the inspection.
  5. We will either repair or replace the product depending on the damage.
Delivery:

We process your order in the shortest time as possible.

Sales Tax:

Sales tax will be charged for all Florida sales / shipments. For all other states, sales are tax free.

Return Policy:

  1. If you want to return a product, please email us your full name, address, phone number, email address, time to call, products purchased. We will email you a return authorization number. No returns will be accepted after 10 days of delivery.
  2. Returned merchandize will be accepted for refund only if the products are absolutely unused, in their original packing in good condition, so that they can be re-sold.
  3. There will be a re-stocking fee of 25% of the value of the products, and any Credit Card or any other charges incurred from the sale, will also be deducted, for all returns. Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded, shipping the merchandize back to us will be your responsibility and you will be responsible for the shipping charges. When shipping back to us we would advise using a carrier, where you can trace your shipment and the carrier can provide delivery confirmation. Include in the returned box original packing note (keep a copy), your full name, address, phone number, e-mail address, time to call and return authorization number.
  4. If you have received defective merchandize, you can return it to us for replacement of the same product. When shipping back to us we would advise using a carrier, where you can track your shipment and the carrier can provide delivery confirmation. After we have received the merchandize, we will inspect it and either repair it or send you a new one, the discretion will be ours.
Shipping and Handling Charge Policy

Our shipping and handling charge policy is geared to shipping the most economical and reliable way and charging the minimum shipping and handling charges.

Shipping and handling charges depend upon the weight, volume and the distance to which the shipment is going, and the fragile nature of the product as well as the mode of shipping.

Shipping via UPS Ground :

UPS Ground packages are insured for value. Products are shipped freight prepaid. If the product is needed sooner then we can ship Next Day Air, 2 Day Air or 3 Day Select. If there is loss or damage we will refund your loss only when we have received the claim amount from UPS.

We will provide tracking numbers upon request. We make every effort to provide these tracking numbers via e-mail and do not take responsibility for any e-mail lost due to inaccurate e-mail addresses or e-mails going to spam folders.

Shipping via Fed Ex :

We can only offer Fed Ex as a shipper for any order outside the U.S.A.

International shipping will have a higher shipping rate depending on items ordered, weight and destination country. We do not ship via USPS to any International Address due to many lost packages and very poor customer service.

Fed Ex rates will be calculated after your purchase and will be sent via e-mail in the form of an Invoice from E-bay. The shipping amount will depend on the weight, volume and the distance to which the shipment is going, and the fragile nature of the product.

Liability:

The Science Fair is not responsible for any other use of the product other than it is intended to be. Our liability, if at all is limited to replacement of the product.

All the products should be used with care. Any injuries occurring due to improper use, abuse or carelessness of the user is not the responsibility of The Science Fair, and they will not be held liable.

If any product involves glass or other breakable material, any injuries due to its breaking is not our liability.
